Privacy statement

BCT B.V. (incl. subsidiaries Great! to Work With BV, OraVision BV, ProFuture BV, BCT BvBA and BCT Deutschland GmbH) considers the protection of personal privacy important. Personal data is therefore handled carefully and secured. In processing personal data, BCT B.V. observes the applicable legislation.

Personal data

Personal data is data that provides information about an individual person, such as contact details, but also financial data or data about other privacy sensitive matters. Naturally we have taken measures to comply with the new legislation. We would like to inform you about this.

Processing of personal data

BCT B.V. processes personal data in the context of efficient and effective business operations, in particular in the context of carrying out the following activities:
(a) assessing and accepting a customer and establishing and executing customer agreements and relationship management;
(b) processing data for (direct) marketing purposes;
(c) to comply with legal obligations;
(d) for the purpose of management information, the development of products and services, and to determine overall strategy and policy;
(e) Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable audit;
(f) audits;
(g) dealing with disputes, questions and complaints.

On what grounds do we have the right to process your personal data?

In most cases, we process your data in order to take steps, at your request, to enter into a contract with you, or because the processing is necessary for the performance of the contract with you. If the processing is not related to your contract, we process your data on one of the following grounds:

  • Our legitimate interests, including marketing our products and services;
  • you have given us clear consent to process your personal data;
  • as required to fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our contractual agreements.

How long we keep data

BCT B.V. will not retain your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data are collected. We will retain data for marketing purposes until the moment of cancellation/termination. Furthermore, our retention period(s) depend on the services you have obtained from us and the associated legal provisions.

Sharing with others

BCT B.V. shares your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the contract and to comply with a possible legal obligation. We have concluded a processing agreement with companies which process your details on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your details. BCT B.V. remains responsible for this processing. In addition, it may be the case that BCT B.V. provides your personal data to third parties other than those indicated above. We will only do this with your express permission!


Data are also used by BCT as a group, for example to inform (potential) clients about (new and/or relevant) products, services and/or activities of BCT and its carefully selected partners. BCT does not allow the use of personal data by third parties for their own commercial, charitable or idealistic purposes. If information about (new) products and services (by post, e-mail etc.) is not appreciated (any more), this can be reported to BCT via or by letter to the address below.

Surf and click behavior

On BCT's websites general visiting data is kept (anonymised), such as the most frequently visited pages, with the aim of optimising the websites. BCT may also use the data for carrying out research and for carrying out analyses in order to place more specific information on the site. This enables BCT to further improve its service and to adapt it to the wishes of its clients. We also combine online surfing, search and customer behaviour to optimise our campaigns. We do this on the basis of cookie techniques and techniques comparable to cookies.

Use of cookies, local storage and tracking pixels

When offering its services online, BCT uses two ways to store data in the browser: cookies and local storage.


BCT's websites make use of cookies. Cookies are small text files that are placed on the computer, tablet or cell phone when our websites are visited. We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • To be able to inform you as well as possible about our products and services, e.g. most relevant information tailored to preferences and interests.
  • For research, to optimize the website and make it more user-friendly.
  • Some cookies are necessary to be able to use functionalities on the websites, for example to use the questionnaire.

Prefer not to use cookies? Then it can be turned off in the settings of the browser.
Please note that this means that not all functionalities of the websites work on computer, tablet or cell phone.

Local storage

Sometimes data is not stored in a cookie but in the browser's 'local storage'. This works in much the same way as cookies but it is safer and more data can be stored. With local storage, the person concerned determines how long the browser stores the data. This depends on the settings of the browser and/or how often the history of the browser is cleared.

Tracking pixels

A tracking pixel is an electronic file (size normally 1 pixel x 1 pixel) that is placed in an email (for example, our newsletter). By using a tracking pixel we can see if an email is read. We can also use this information, in combination with other information, to optimize our campaigns.

Links to other sites

The websites of BCT may contain links to the websites of other parties. BCT bears no responsibility for the manner in which these parties handle personal data.

Securing personal data

BCT B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to protect personal data against destruction (accidental or unlawful), loss, misuse, falsification, unauthorised access or distribution or any other form of unlawful processing of personal data. In doing so, BCT weighs up the risks, the technical possibilities and the implementation costs.

What are your rights?

You are entitled to inspect, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by BCT B.V. and you have the right to data portability.

You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete or transfer your personal data to or by letter to the address below. To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we may ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy we ask you to place a black cross on your passport photo and to blacken your citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. BCT B.V. will respond to your requests in writing or by telephone as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your data under this Privacy Policy, you have the right to submit your complaint to the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.

Personal data breach (data breach)

BCT complies with Articles 33 and 34 of the AVG for personal data breaches. This means that we will report a serious personal data breach to the Personal Data Authority within 72 hours of discovery. If a personal data breach is discovered, please notify us as soon as possible, but in any case within 24 hours after the personal data breach is discovered. Please make this report via stating your name, employer, telephone number and a brief description of the personal data breach discovered.
